Recipe : Creamy Smooth Peanut Butter Cookies
Procedure :
1 c Butter Or Margarine
1 1/2 c Creamy Peanut Butter
1 c Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 c Brown Sugar; Packed
2 lg Eggs
2 ts Vanilla Extract
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking Soda
2 c Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
Cream the butter and peanut butter. Beat in the sugars, blending well. Add the eggs, vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 Degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes Yield: About 5 dozen cookies

Recipe : Cinnamon Drop Cookies
Procedure :
1/2 lb Raisins
1 1/2 c Brown sugar
1 c Shortening; scant
3 ea Eggs
1 c Walnuts; english
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Cinnamon
3 tb Raisin juice
3 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
Cook and cool raisins. Mix and drop by spoonful on baking sheet. Bake in moderately hot oven for 15 minutes. Source: Mrs. Flora Hall, Knox County, OH

Recipe : Chicken Pot Pie (Mom’s)
Procedure :
2 tb Butter
1/2 c Sliced onion
1 c Mushroom soup
1/2 c Milk
1/8 ts Marjoram
1 1/2 c Diced chicken
1 c Whole small potatoes
1 c Peas
cook onion in the butter till tender. blend soup, milk, marjoram and add to onion and heat.put chicken, potatoes and peas in casserole and pour the liquid ingredients over. top with bisquik mix or your own tea biscuit recipe made into individual biscuits. bake in 450 degree oven 20 minutes

Recipe : Grilled Beef Blade Steaks with Spicy Orange Marinade
Procedure :
6 1″ Boneless beef blade steaks — pierced all over
2 large bell pepper — quartered
2 zest of navel oranges
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
In a large shallow pan arrange the blade steaks in one layer and add the= bell peppers . In a blender, blend the orange zest, juice, oil, garlic, soy= sauce, red pepper flakes, vinegar, and the salt untilthe marinade is smooth, pour over the steaks and the peppers coating them thoroughly and letting the mixture marinate, covered and chilled overnight.
Grill the steaks and the peppers, discard the marinade, on an oiled rack 5-6 inches over the coals for 8 min. each side for med-rare. Transfer the steaks to a platter and let the steaks stand for 5 min.

Recipe : Pumpkin-Pecan Spice Bread
Procedure :
-FHMN87A Phill Bower 3 c Bread flour
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tb Butter; room temperature
1 ts Salt
1 ts Pumpkin pie spice
1 lg Egg
1/2 c Milk
1/4 c Orange juice
1/2 c Canned pumpkin
1/3 c Sugar
1/2 c Pecan pieces
2 1/2 ts Active dry yeast
Process the ingredients according to the manufacturer’s instructions for the basic bread setting. Remove the bread from the bread pan to a rack to cool. Wrap in aluminum foil ior a paper bag to store. This is for a 1 1/2 pound loaf. I have set the serving for “3″ if you make a 1 pound loaf, set the servings for “2″ and let the great MM make the conversion for you.
